Bronze Medallist at the Danish Championships and Stallion Performance Test Reserve Champion
Rideability Score of 10
Victorious in Competitions for Young Horses (M level)
One to Remember lives up to his name: this jet-black stallion is not easy to forget. He received a perfect score of 10 for his rideability, 9.3 for his uphill canter, 9.0 for his capacity, 8.9 for his cadenced trot, and 8.3 for his clear four-beat walk – securing him the bronze medal with Eric Guardia Martinez/ESP at the Danish Championships for four-year-olds. This was followed by second place at his stallion performance test and victories in competitions for young dressage horses up to intermediate (M) level.
One to Remember passes on his charm and wonderfully supple movements to his foals, which are highly sought after at auctions.
His sire Secret is the son of the triple World Champion and international winner up to Inter I, Sezuan, who is currently placed 16th in the WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage sires as the youngest stallion. Secret won his 14-day test, the silver medal at the 2017 German Championships for young riding horses and also silver at the 2019 World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses. In 2020, he won the German Championships for six-year-old dressage horses with his rider Jessica Lynn Thomas/SWE. He has produced over 70 licensed stallions, including Segantini FRH, who was placed twice in the top ten at the World Championships for six- and seven-year-old dressage horses with Dorothee Schneider and qualified for the Burg Cup Final after previously winning the German Young Riding Horse Championships. The silver and bronze medals went to Secret's sons Alkaline/Merita Hagren/DEN and Severucci HT/Jeanna Hogberg/SWE at the World Championships for young dressage horses. Soxx secured gold in 2025 at the German and Westphalian Championships for three-year-old stallions. And there is the Vice German Young Horse Champion Sézane, the Vice German Young Horse Champion and Hanoverian Champion Sedamo K, as well as Snickers F, Vice German Young Riding Horse Champion, DSP Champion and Baden-Württemberg State Champion.
His dam's sire Vivaldi was placed in international competitions up to St. Georges with Hans Peter Minderhoud/NED and secured the VHO ranking in 2013 at the KWPN licensing. Previously, he was Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test in the Netherlands, won the Pavo Cup and won the KNHS/KWPN stallion competitions twice (10 for trot). He has held his top position amongst the world's best dressage sires according to the WBFSH ranking for years. He owes this to over 70 licensed sons, many of whom also shine in Grand Prix dressage, such as Desperado/Emmelie Scholtens/NED, team silver medallist at the European Championships, Glock’s Dream Boy/Hans Peter Minderhoud/NED, fifth by team at the Olympics, World Championships and European Championships, as well as Cennin/Madeleine Witte-Vrees/NED, Blue Hors Veneziano/Laura Kristine Thorup/DEN, and the newly crowned Louisdor Prize winner Viva Gold OLD/Isabell Werth. This group naturally also includes our influential Burg Cup winner and elite stallion Vitalis/Isabel Freese/NOR.
His grand-dam Vertu Heroique is the half sister of the licensed stallion Suarez (by Sandreo), who was successful in dressage competitions up to intermediate (M*) level. Her half sister Diamant Hertoique (by Johnson) produced the licensed stallion Nick of Diamond (by Glock's Toto JR), who is successful in the USA. The half siblings Incredibly Heroic (by Charmeur) and Limited Edition (by Fürst William) are successful in the Small Tour.
Breeding family 1512, including the stallions Wilskracht (by Amsterdam) and Toevallig (by Elegant) as well as numerous auction horses.
