His dam Queen Kinmar Hero Z is successful in 1.50m show jumping competitions

Fourth dam Atoucha van ’t Roosakker produced three top horses

With maximum athleticism and dynamism, the first foals of Dourking Hero Z have attracted attention and were accordingly sought after at auctions.

The high-flyer Dourking Hero Z’s show jumping performances are no less extraordinary. He has already demonstrated his talent with a series of victories in intermediate (M) level show jumping competitions for young horses and scores of up to 8.7. This, together with his highly scored stallion performance test and successful debut as a sire, gives us high hopes for the future. 

His sire Dourkhan Hero Z won the Hamburg Grand Prix with Christian Ahlmann, came second in Maastricht/NED and Geneva/SUI, fourth in Mexico/MEX, and was also placed in the top ten in Paris/FRA, Madrid/ESP, and Brussels/BEL. The 2022 Vice World Champion of seven-year-olds, who combines the lines of the star sires Diamant de Semilly, Chin Chin, Zandor Z, and Calvaro Z, produced 16 licensed stallions. He goes back to the same dam line as Dourking Hero Z: the famous Atoucha van 't Roosakker is Dourkhan Hero Z’s third dam and she appears in the fourth generation in Dourking Hero Z’s pedigree.

His dam Queen Kinmar Hero Z was placed in 1.50m show jumping competitions with Sergo Alvarez Moya/ESP and Erynn Ballard/CAN. Her full brother Kadco Hero Z is successful in show jumping competitions up to 1.40m with Pedro De Andrade Costa/BRA. Her half sister Datchea Queen Hero Z (by Dominator 2000 Z) competed in the 2024 and 2025 World Championships for five- and six-year-old show jumping horses.

His dam's sire is Kassander van 't Roosakker Z, who is internationally successful with Gregory Wathelet/BEL, and whose dam Electra van 't Roosakker was successful in 5* show jumping competitions with Janika Sprunger/SUI and Jos Lansink/BEL. Electra van 't Roosakker is the granddaughter of one of the most famous broodmares in the world, Usha van 't Roosakker. Several sons of Kassander van 't Roosakker Z were licensed, including Picobello van 't Roosakker, who was placed in 1.50m show jumping competitions with Steve Guerdat/SUI and Jason Smith/SUI.

His grand-dam Attoucha was successful in 1.60m show jumping competitions with Paris Sellon/USA.

Dourking Hero Z's pedigree also includes the exceptional stallions Aganix de Seigneur and once again Diamant de Semilly, Darco and Chin Chin. 

His great-grand-dam MoM'S Gatoucha van 't Roosakker was also successful in the sport: with Michael Korompis/NED and Kirsten Rombouts/BEL, she was successful in show jumping competitions up to 1.50m. Of her highly successful show jumping offspring, Kastello (by Echo van 't Spieveld; 1.45m SJ)/Megan Laseur/NED, Maestro van 't Roosakker (by Couletto; 1.45m SJ)/Maggie Hill/USA, Tinkoucha Hero Z (by Tinka's Boy; 1.60m SJ)/Leonie Peeters/BEL and H5 Alana Hero Z (by Aganix du Seigneur Z; 1.50m SJ)/Hannes Symons/BEL deserve to be mentioned, the latter two of which in turn produced international show jumping horses.

The aforementioned fourth dam Atoucha van ’t Roosakker also produced three fantastic horses: aside from the aforementioned MoM’S Gatoucha van ’t Roosakker, she also produced Falco van 't Roosakker (by Berlin; 1.60m SJ)/Eugenio Grimaldi/ITA and Electra van 't Roosakker (by Carthago Z; 1.60m SJ)/Jos Lansink/BEL. The latter also produced Kent Farrington’s Kaprice (by Echo van't Spieveld; 1.60m SJ). Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren have produced other internationally successful jumping horses and licensed stallions.
