Oldenburg State Champion and Deister Vice Champion
From the famous bloodline of Aleska Z
Olesko's first competition season could hardly have gone better: Victory at the Oldenburg State Championships, second place at the no less prestigious 18th Deister Championships for four-year-olds and a series of victories in competitions for young show jumping horses with scores up to 8.9 with his trainer Leonie Bußmann-Wöhle. Olesko, who represents the famous Aleska Z line, thus follows up on his strong performance at the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf, which he completed with top marks, finishing in fourth place against strong competition.
His first foals are consistently impressive in terms of conformation, athleticism, strength, and elasticity.
His sire Ogano Sitte is considered one of the most valuable sons of the influential Darco. His great-grand-dam is none other than the famous Gute Sitte/Eric Wauters/BEL, who won the Olympic team bronze medal in Montreal/CAN, and is the founding mare of one of the most successful dam lines. Ogano Sitte himself achieved international show jumping successes up to four-star level with Dominique Hendrickx/BEL. He has produced almost 50 licensed stallions, including Aganix du Seigneur/Jos Lansink/NED (1.60m SJ), Bogano/Jeremy Sweetnam/IRL (1.60m SJ) and Button Sitte/Richie Moloney/IRL (1.60m SJ). Almost 40 of his offspring are successful in 1.60m show jumping competitions: Jade vd Bisschop/Pieter Devos/BEL, Thelma La Tour Vidal/Koki Saito/JPN, Ikker/Olivier Philippaerts/BEL and many more. Since 2016, Ogano Sitte has been one of the world’s best show jumping sires according to the WBFSH ranking.
His dam Louisiana Libby produced Four Roses (by Fire and Ice J)/Leonie Böckmann, who was successful in international 1.50m show jumping competitions.
His dam’s sire Lord Pezi was a finalist at the German Championships for young horses in 2000 and 2001, was successful at the World Championships for young show jumping horses and achieved victories and placings in 1.45m show jumping competitions with Gilbert Böckmann/GER. In breeding, he has produced over 20 licensed stallions, starting with the premium stallion and VTV show jumping stallion Lord Pezi Junior/Pedro Veniss/BRA, who counts amongst over 30 1.60m show jumping offspring of Lord Pezi and who is also the full brother of Olesko’s dam Louisiana Libby.
His grand-dam St.Pr.St. Aquinora reached the “Brillantring” at the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede and also produced Acota M (by Toulon)/Natalie Dean/USA, who is successful in 1.60m show jumping competitions, as well as the sport horses Shadow Puppet (by Lord Pezi; CIC4*-L) and Latino (by Luxius; 1.40m SJ).
His dam’s sire Quattro B is considered a versatile sire. With Gilbert Böckmannn, he was placed in competitions up to World Cups and was victorious up to intermediate (M) level in dressage and his offspring are successful in all Olympic disciplines. He has produced over 20 licensed stallions, including Quando-Quando, who was victorious in dressage Grand Prix with Kristy Oatley/AUS and who is the grand-sire of the German Young Horse Champion and DSP elite stallion Quaterback. Equis Oliver Q/Harrie Smolders/NED, who was successful in World Cups, and Quicksilber/Andreas Kreuzer, the show jumping World Champion who was placed in 1.50m show jumping competitions, lead the crowd of licensed show jumping stallions.
His great-grand-dam Aleska Z is the founding mare of Böckmann’s performance breeding. She has produced the foundation stallion Cordalmé Z (by Cor de la Bryère)/Gilbert Böckmann, who was victorious in Nations Cups, the two licensed full brothers Royal Z I and II (both by Ramiro) as well as the licensed stallion Landrover (by Landadel), who was placed in show jumping competitions up to 1.40m. Aleska’s daughter Rolanda (by Rolando)/Gilbert Böckmann took part in World Cup competitions accumulating lifetime winnings of over €140,000. Aleska’s daughter Avion (by Mythos) is the dam of Avienna (by Last Liberty), who produced three licensed stallions, Gabbiano (by Grandeur; 1.50m SJ)/Leonie Böckmann as well as the third-placed stallion at his licensing Comfort and his full brother Charlie Weasley (both by Christian). Her daughter Coachella (by Christian)/Karl Cook/USA was successful in 1.60m show jumping competitions.
From the performance line of Degengöttin also descend the licensed stallion Stakko (by Stakkato; 1.40m SJ)/Justine Tebbel as well as the 1.60m show jumping horse Northern Diamond (by Diamant de Revel)/Miguel Kahwagi/MEX.
