Oldenburg Show Jumping Champion
4th Place at the Deister Championships
His dam Chacjana is the half sister of the top show jumping horse Chacanno JRA
Conkanno PS produces foals that, like himself, have the potential to become top athletes. In 2023, he won the title at the Oldenburg Show Jumping Championships for four-year-olds with a score of 9.0. He also came fourth in the final of the Deister Championships. In 2024, he only just missed out on a place on the podium in the Rasted five-year-old class, finishing in fourth place. He won a series of competitions for young show jumping horses with scores of up to 8.9. In 2025, he was successful in the international Youngster Tour.
His sire Conthargos produced a string of top horses, including the Olympic show jumping horses Conthargo-Blue/Eiken Sato/JPN and Condara/Luis Fernando Larrazabal/VEN, the European Championship show jumping horse Caept'n Hoek/Armando Trapote/ESP, as well as Pia Contra/Nicolas Pizarro/MEX and Abril Iconthon/Leandro Moschini/ARG, who were successful at the Pan American Games, the 1.60m show jumping horses Costa Quick PS/Mario Deslauriers/CAN, Conchado/Ignacio Maurin/ARG, Cobalino PS/Martin Knudsen/DEN, Concare PS/Mark Bluman/COL, Conchento PS/Gregory Wathelet/BEL and Concona/Ben Maher/GBR, Ciara PS/Simone Blum, who came sixth in the German Championships, the individual gold medallist at the Junior European Championships in Gorla Minore/ITA, Tailormade Contou/Anastasia Nielsen/MON, and the team gold medallist, Conthanja/Coen Williams/IRL. Almost 80 of his sons have been licensed, including the double Champion Stallion Conthalou, Continental Blue, who was highly placed in Grand Prix, our Oldenburg State Champion Conkanno PS, the serial winner in competitions for young show jumping horses, Conthalor Blue PS, as well as the Westphalian Champion Stallion Con Touch RS, the premium stallion and OS main premium winner Coeur Rouge, and the current show jumping champion and reserve champion from Mecklenburg.
His dam Chacjana also produced Contrast Blue PS (by Conthargos)/Filippo Codecasa/ITA, successful in 1.45m show jumping, Cojana Blue PS (by Conthargos)/Victoria Schumacher, who was placed in 1.35m show jumping competitions, and Mecanno PS (by Messenger)/Nicolas Pizarro/MEX, who was successful in the international Youngster Tour. Her daughter Centiljanna (by Centadel) is the dam of the internationally successful Balcanno PS (by Baloubet du Rouet)/Valentin Pacaud/FRA.
His dam’s sire Chacco-Blue was third in the Grand Prix in Aachen, won the Grand Prix in Neumünster, was number one in the WBFSH ranking of the world’s best show jumping sires for six years in a row from 2017, was second in 2023 and 2024 and now stands in third place. From a breeding perspective, the elite stallion produced Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, Olympic Champion, individual silver and team bronze medallist at the European Championships and Global Champions Tour winner, Chanyon/Daisuke Fukushima/JPN, placed sixth at the Olympics, Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL, European Team Champion, Chacon/Eoin McMahon/IRL, placed second in the Nations Cup final and EIC Up Too Jacco Blue/Max Kühner/AUT, placed seventh in the World Cup final. Chacco-Blue produced the most offspring in almost all championships. He has produced well over 100 licensed stallions, including the current show jumping champion of the Westphalian licensing in Münster-Handorf.
His grand-dam Siljanna produced the licensed stallion Cha-Kanno PS (by Chacoon Blue) as well as six internationally successful show jumping horses, such as the 1.60m show jumping horses Chacanno JRA (by Chacco-Blue)/Eiken Sato/JPN and Chuck Bass (by Centadel)/Jessica Mendoza/GBR. Siljanna's daughter Caleja PS (by Chacoon Blue) produced the third-placed stallion of the Mecklenburg licensing by Conthargos.
In the previous generations, the top sires Kannan, Silvio I and Don Carlos, perfectly complete his pedigree.
The stallions Vandenabeele (by Vitalis), Lightsong (by Light On), Dulder (by Dollart), Flugsport (by Flankeur), Granit (by Galan), Salut (by Sender I), Welgrano (by Weltmeister) and Wendelstein (by Fernjäger) as well as numerous sport horses also descend from the Hanoverian mare line of Jamuna.
