In the image of his sire who was successful at the Olympics

Wingman van de Pitsemburg is the spitting image of his sire Ermitage Kalone - and not just in terms of his eye-catching coat. At his licensing in Zangersheide, he impressed with his clear superiority and explosiveness at the jump. This stallion takes the triad of caution, technique and ability to a whole new level.

His sire Ermitage Kalone, who is by Catoki, is one of the most successful show jumping stallions in the world. In the 2024 season alone, under the saddle of his Belgian rider Gilles Thomas, he came second in the Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix in Riyadh/KSA and the World Cup show jumping competition in Mechelen/BEL, third in the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix in Madrid/ESP and the Grand Prix in Geneva/SUI, fourth in the Olympic qualifying show jumping competition in Versailles/FRA, fifth in the Grand Prix in Paris/FRA and he was also in the individual Olympic final. In 2023, Ermitage Kalone had already shown his ability for high level by winning gold at the Belgian Championships and other successes. 14 of his sons have been licensed, including the two BWP champion stallions Ultra Star JM and Vitalis JS Van Het Hagenbroek. His first offspring are proving themselves in the international Youngster Tour, including Sem-Tex/Simon Pruve/BEL and the finalist at the World Championships for young show jumping horses, Ellan Z.

His dam Waranka is the half sister of Uno (by Fuego du Prelet), who won the Grand Prix in Donetsk/UKR, came second in the World Cup show jumping competition in Moscow/RUS, third in the Grand Prix in Wellington/USA and Bremen/GER and seventh in the Championships in Basel/SUI with Katharina Offel/UKR and Sergio Alvarez Moya/ESP. Waranka also produced the licensed stallion Lancelot van de Heffinck (by Diamant de Semilly), who was successful in 1.40m show jumping competitions, the fantastic show jumping horses Jaque Mate (by Caspar aka Berlin; 1.50m SJ), Chapon de Heffinck (by Cabrio van de Heffinck; 1.40m SJ) and Oscar van het Breehof (by Kakka van den Heffinck; 1.40m SJ) as well as the young show jumping horse Splendid (by Kafka van de Heffinck).

His dam's sire is Quidam de Revel’s son Quite Easy, who began his career in Sweden, where he became Youngster Champion and later Vice-Champion at the Swedish Championships. With his rider Peter Eriksson/SWE, he also achieved numerous placings in international competitions. In terms of breeding, he has produced over 30 licensed stallions, led by the Grand Prix winner Quadam/Leslie Burr-Howqard/USA, the World Cup finalist Que Pasa and the Nations Cup winner Aleqs, as well as Veron VDL and Quinta Real. Over 30 of his offspring were successful in 1.60m show jumping and five-star eventing competitions, placing Quite Easy amongst the world's best show jumping sires as well as the world's best eventing sires in the WBFSH ranking.

His grand-dam Agrienda is the half sister of the licensed stallion Balougran Z (by Baloubet du Rouet)/Luiz Felipe de Azevedo/BRA, who was successful in show jumping competitions up to 1.50m. Her half sister Agonara (by Cento) also produced the World Championship show jumping horse Calcento JRA (by Calvaro Z)/Koki Saito/JPN and Mylento (by Mylord Carthago), who was placed in 1.50m show jumping competitions.
