This makes him a top-class dressage prospect," commented Olympic champion Heike Kemmer on behalf of the licensing committee at the Hanoverian licensing – and sent our newly crowned premium stallion on his well-deserved lap of honour – much to the delight of the breeders, who had already identified our Vito as the clear favourite at the preliminary selection.

Vito comes from the first crop of the reigning German Young Horse and Oldenburg State Champion Viva Vitalis. The highlights of his career line up like pearls on a necklace. Mecklenburg Champion Stallion in 2021, third place at his stallion performance test in Schlieckau with a final dressage score of 8.62 (9.5 for canter and 9.0 for overall impression) and a victorious sport debut with Linda Casper in 2022, series of victories in competitions for young riding horses and bronze medallist at the German Championships for four-year-old stallions (9.5 for canter) in 2023, victory in the Young Horse Championships in Moritzburg with 8.8 in 2024, and finally, now ridden by Lukas Fischer, a series of victories in competitions for young dressage horses with a total score of 9.0, gold at the Oldenburg State Championships (8.56) and a superior victory at the German Championships for six-year-old dressage horses with 9.5 for canter and perspective, 9.3 for trot, 9.0 for suppleness, and 8.5 for walk in 2025. His breeding results are also impressive: Viva Vitalis has already produced highly priced auction highlights, exceptional show winners, and now also his first licensed sons.

His dam Hann.Pr.St. Dante's No Limit also produced the €40,000 auction foal Freude Pur (by Federer). Her half brother is the licensed Vice Champion of young eventing horses and internationally successful eventer Abraxas (by Araldik) ridden by Pia and Ben Leuwer. Her half siblings Ventura (by Veneziano) and Liviano (by Vainqueur) have been successful up to intermediate (M*) level dressage level.

His dam's sire Dante's Junior, himself a son of the championship-winning Dante Weltino OLD, was a premium stallion, completed his stallion performance test with top scores, and produced several licensed stallions. 

His great-grand-dam St.Pr.St. Sunshine, herself a half sister of the licensed stallion Raikano (by Rabino), produced the licensed stallion Porsche SVM (by Perigueux).

In third and fourth place are the high-profile show jumping sires Now or Never M, son of Voltaire, and Stakkato.
