Hanoverian Premium Stallion and €500,000 Stallion Market Top Price Danish Dam Line
“His appearance is extravagant, his trot spectacular. He has an exceptional conformation and foundations," the licensing commissioner Heike Kemmer described Venture, who was the 2023 Danish Champion Foal and the top price at the DWB Elite Foal Auction and was already praised at the time for his fantastic type and outstanding paces – and now received a thunder of applause at his licensing in Verden. "Stallions like this were the goal of opening up the stallion market. If Hanover wants to stay ahead, the stallion market must be a magnet for the best stallions in Europe," emphasised Kemmer. The bidding war for the young star out of a dam by Revolution-Ferro, only ended at the stallion market top price of €500,000—in our favour.
His sire Vivaldos, himself descending from the crossing of Vivaldi and Doris Day, the German Young Horse Champion, Hanoverian Champion Mare, and winner of the Herwart von der Decken Show, was a premium stallion at the 2018 Hanoverian licensing in Verden. In 2020, he qualified for the German Championships for young riding horses in Warendorf after coming fifth in the Hanoverian Championships. He won the Oldenburg Ia Main Premium for his first crop of foals.
His dam's sire Revolution was a Hanoverian premium stallion and top price of the Stallion Market, Danish Champion Stallion, winner of his stallion performance test (seven times the maximum score of 10) and Danish Champion (four times 10). In 2018, he won the World Championship crown with 9.62 in the five-year-old class with Andreas Helgstrand/DEN. In 2019, he once again received amazing scores and won the silver medal. For three years in a row, he was unbeatable at the Danish Championships and in 2020, as a seven-year-old, Revolution made his debut with a win and over 77% at Prix St. Georges level. However, in 2020, he was not able to expand his collection of World Championships gold and silver medals as a result of the cancellation of the championships due to the coronavirus pandemic. In 2023, Revolution won his first Grand Prix with almost 76 percent and continued his career with Roberto Brasil/POR. His first offspring have conquered the Grand Prix arenas in record time. 17 of his sons have been licensed. Amongst his premium daughters, Valerie B, Danish Champion Mare, Champion of young dressage horses and placed fourth twice at the World Championships for young dressage horses, and Romy, Hanoverian winner of the Herwart von der Decken Show, stand out.
Ferro, who secured three championship silver medals, appears in the third generation of the pedigree. With Coby van Baalen/NED, he was part of the Dutch team that was placed second at the 1998 World Equestrian Games in Rome/ITA, at the 1999 European Championships in Arnhem/NED and at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney/AUS. Furthermore, he was placed second in the World Cup final in 's-Hertogenbosch/NED. He has produced over 40 licensed stallions, including Rousseau, Negro, Metall and Rhodium. In the Netherlands, he received the predicate “pref”.
The two dressage horses Midas (by Mickelino) and Abkærs Reflection (by Revolution), both successful up to St. Georges level, as well as the 1.45m show jumping horse Charmeur ASK (by Carson ASK) also descend from the Danish line.
