Produced a €110,000 top price foal from his first generation
Third place at his stallion performance test with dream score of 10 for rideability
It took €110,000 to end the bidding war for True Fino, from True Hope PS’ first crop of foals, at the DSP Hybrid Auction in Darmstadt. Tabaluga was also the top price at the Hanoverian Foal Auction. Overall, True Hope PS’ debut as a sire has made headlines. He was the only stallion to receive the dream score of 10 for his rideability at his stallion performance test, where he came third, and was also victorious in his sport debut with Tanja Fischer.
His sire Total Hope, who inherited his talent for collection from his parents, the world-class horses Totilas and Weihegold OLD, broke the 80 percent mark in the freestyle at the 2023 European Championships in Riesenbeck, finishing tenth in the individual final. He also came tenth in the Olympic freestyle – with a new personal best of 83.050 percent. In the 2025 World Cup final in Basel/SUI, he did even better with a score of 83.490 percent and collected the bronze medal. And at the European Championships in Crozet/FRA, he added an eighth place to his championship record with his tenth result of over 80 percent. But Total Hope had already attracted attention before that. In 2022 - in his very first Grand Prix season - he was successful at the World Championships in Herning/DEN. Before that, he won the Nuremberg Burg Cup in 2019 and the Louisdor Prize in 2021, something that no other stallion in the long history of the two most important young horse competitions had ever achieved. And both times, he won in an absolutely impressive manner - clearly ahead of the strong competition. He began his career as Champion of his Swedish licensing, dressage champion and finalist as a six-year-old and bronze medallist as a seven-year-old at the World Championships for young dressage horses. Among Total Hope’s licensed sons, the premium stallion and Swedish Young Dressage Horse Champion Oneofakind OM/Ingrid Klimke and the Oldenburg Vice State Champion Tesino RS stand out. Prince of Hope has already been placed in the international Small Tour. With Royal Hope G OLD, Total Hope presented the Oldenburg Champion Mare, Vice German Young Horse Champion, and two-time Oldenburg State Champion with Tanja Fischer. Tabea von Feldmatt CH won the Swiss Championships with Andrina Suter/SUI. Vidar was unbeatable in the competition for four-year-olds and later the seven-year-olds at the SWB Equestrian Weeks. BreFood's Total Belize/Katharina Hemmer won a series of competitions for young dressage horses, and Total Impact CBM took bronze at the Australian Championships for five-year-olds. Total Happy H was second top price at the Hanoverian Elite Auction with a knockdown price of €105,000 and Total Spezial vom Möhrkenhof was the €50,500 top price at the 80th Westphalian Foal Online Auction. The filly Tainted Love sold for €30,000 at the Westphalian OnLive Auction.
His dam Fürstin-Look PS was victorious in competitions for young riding horses and was placed in competitions for young dressage horses. His full sister and “Brillantring” mare True Story PS came fourth at the Oldenburg Riding Horse Championships with Tanja Fischer, after winning the qualifier with a score of 8.6.
His dam’s sire, elite stallion Fürstenball, was Champion of the Oldenburg licensing, Champion of his stallion performance test, Oldenburg main premium winner, German Young Horse and Oldenburg State Champion, finalist at the World Championships, victorious up to Prix St. Georges level, VTV dressage stallion, number one of the FN breeding valuation, Danish Elite Stallion and Stallion of the Year in Denmark. He is currently amongst the top 20 in the WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage sires. He has produced numerous offspring who are successful in Grand Prix, amongst whom Heiline’s Danciera, World Champion by team, placed fourth by team and seventh individually at the Olympics and team bronze medallist at the European Championships, and Ingrid Klimke’s young Grand Prix horse, First Class, particularly stand out. His championship-winning offspring also include the Para European Championship individual and team gold medallist Poesie/Heidemarie Dresing (Grade II), the Junior European Championship team gold and individual bronze medallist Feingefühl/Alix von Borries/GER, the Children's European Championship team gold and individual silver medallist Fürst Schwarzenberg MT/Lynn Sophie Soddemann/GER and the German Children Championship gold medallist Faro Shen/Therese Billig/GER as well as the five German Young Horse Champions Fürsten-Look, Festina PS, Fior, Feine Bella and the aforementioned Feingefühl. Fürsten-Look, winner of his licensing and one of over 100 licensed sons of Fürstenball, took third place in the Burg Cup final with Isabel Freese/NOR. He has produced around 300 premium daughters, amongst whom the two Oldenburg Champion Mares Fiesta Danza OLD and Fünf Sterne as well as the Hanoverian Champion Mare Fine Lady particularly stand out.
