Westphalian Premium Stallion
Dam has produced four stallions
Following his licensing in Westphalia, where the ultra-modern stallion Sezou, who is predestined for the biggest arenas, was awarded the premium, he has now also passed his stallion test in Denmark with flying colours: he received 9.0 for his canter, 8.5 for his trot and capacity, and 8.0 for his walk. With a total of 833.5 points, he was highly placed against strong competition.
This year, Sezou will present his first crop of foals, which are eagerly awaited.
His sire Sezuan catapulted himself to 16th place in the WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage sires as the youngest stallion. He owes this to his highly successful offspring, including Olympic Team and European Team Champion and individual bronze medallist Wendy de Fontaine/Isabell Werth, Grand Prix winner Special Blend/Isabell Werth, and Louisdor Prize winner DSP Sheldon Cooper/Corinna Harnisch. His licensed sons include Sky, German Young Horse Champion and record top price of the Stallion Market, Secret, Vice World Champion of young dressage horses and German Young Horse Champion, Sezuan's Donnerhall, two-time record stallion performance test winner, and So Unique, two-time premium stallion, stallion performance test winner, German Young Horse Champion, winner of the four-year-olds competition at the World Championships for young dressage horses and since then successful in advanced (S) level competitions with Isabell Werth/GER. Sezuan himself has also made the headlines with his sport career: ridden by Dorothee Schneider, he became the first stallion ever to win the World Championship title for five-, six-, and seven-year-old dressage horses. He then won international competitions up to Inter I. Since then, he has been trained up to Grand Prix level with Patrik Kittel/SWE. Previously, he won his Danish licensing, was record winner of his stallion performance test, Danish Young Dressage Horse Champion, Elite Stallion, and Stallion of the Year in Denmark.
His dam St.Pr.St. DSP Sympathie has already produced three stallions: the licensed and premium stallions Vasco da Gama (by Van Vivaldi I), who made his debut in competitions for young riding horses under his sport name Valesco, Le President (by Lord Loxley) and Morrison Young SN (by Morricone I). His half sister Anmut (by Ampère) was placed in advanced (S) level dressage competitions.
For the fourth year in a row, his dam's sire Sir Donnerhall I is one of the world's most successful dressage sires according to the ranking of the World Breeding Federation WBFSH. He has produced over 70 horses that are successful in Grand Prix, including Samhitas/Kelly Layne/AUS and Sir Caramello OLD/Anush Agarwalla/IND, who took part in the Olympic Games, Valentine/Ashley Holzer/USA and Willingapark Sky Diamond/Jayden Brown/AUS, who took part in the World Championships, Santiago Song/Thibault Vandenberghe/BEL and Sangraal/Stella Hagelstam/FIN, who took part in the European Championships, Serenade MF/Alice Tarjan/USA, Valentine/Ashley Holzer/USA and Syriana/Jessica Dertell/AUS who were successful in World Cup freestyles, and Siebenstein/Mirelle van Kemenade-Witlox/NED, who was placed in Nations Cups. Sir Hohenstein/Bianca Nowag-Aulenbrock/GER won team gold and silver in the freestyle at the European Championships for U25 Grand Prix Riders in Marignano/ITA. He has produced over 100 licensed stallions, including numerous champion and premium stallions as well as Sir Olli/Enrique Cruces Fernandez/ESP, bronze medallist at the World Championships for young dressage horses and successful in Grand Prix.
In the third generation is the Trakehner Uckermärker, who is famous for transmitting great character and who has had an influence on breeding primarily through his daughters, including Utopie, the dam of DSP-Quato (by Quadroneur)/Catharina Neubert/GER, who was successful in Grand Prix, and Theodora, the dam of the international 1.50m show jumping horse DSP Cheer/Sylvia Gugler/USA.
The line also includes the sport horses Jumping Jack (by Saffian; St. Georges), Kairos (by Kobar; 1.40m SJ), Mont Royal (by Matador; 1.30m SJ), Dandy (by Donjour; 1.30m SJ), Condor (by Calimero; 1.30m SJ) and Gloria (by Glimmer; 1.30m SJ).
