Oldenburg Licensing Winner, Vice German Young Horse Champion, State Champion Stallion Performance Test Reserve Champion

Half brother of Bonds, winner of the Oldenburg licensing

It was La Paix’ year. The Oldenburg licensing winner has now also demonstrated absolute superiority under saddle and was in a league of his own at the Oldenburg Championship for three-year-olds, receiving a dream score of 10 for rideability and scores of 8.5 to 9.5 for his basic paces, walk, trot, and canter. He once again thrilled the audience at the German Championships for young horses with his rider Vanessa Crnadak. "This stallion is significant in terms of both his type and his conformation. And that also applies to the quality of his movement. Very confident and light-footed in trot, with good freedom of the shoulders. And evenly on both reins and also on curved lines. In canter, he displays a clear upward tendency, with expression, self-confidence, a closed frame, beautiful side picture, and a lot of engagement from behind. The walk was presented with diligence and swing through the body. In terms of rideability, the horse is very well suited to the rider. He is completely focused, eager to perform, and clearly conveys a feeling for the rider," commented the judges in Warendorf, awarding individual scores of up to 9.5 (canter). With a total of 8.8, he was silver medallist. Finally, he made a strong impression at his stallion performance test in Denmark, receiving the highest test score of 9.5 for his canter and, with 892.0 points, was only beaten by his stable mate Daan G.

La Paix’ first crop of foals is now eagerly awaited.

His sire La Vie qualified for the Nuremberg Burg Cup Final with Therese Nilshagen/SWE with over 75 percent and made his debut in the international Small Tour at the CHIO Aachen with third place in the Inter I (73.441 percent). As a five and six-year-old, he secured his ticket for the German Championships, having previously passed his sport test in Verden with high scores (8.44). His daughter London Eye won the gold medal at the German Championships for young horses and the bronze medal at the Hanoverian Championships in 2024. La Bonheur and La Memoria secured the silver and bronze medals in Verden.

His dam El.St. Rioja also produced the Oldenburg licensing winner Bonds (by Benicio), double stallion performance test winner and successful at advanced (S) level. His full brother Brighton OLD (by Benicio) won the silver medal at the German Championships for young riding horses and the bronze medal at the Oldenburg State Championships. Ridden by Philipp Hess, he has now achieved a series of victories up to intermediate (M**) dressage level. Lloris, La Paix’ full brother, won the Oldenburg Junior Championships with his breeder's daughter Clara Paschertz/GER.

For years, his dam's sire Sir Donnerhall I has been one of the world's most successful dressage sires according to the ranking of the World Breeding Federation WBFSH.
