Mecklenburg licensing winner
From the Vice World Champion of young dressage horses, Glamdale I WP NRW’s first generation of offspring
Our licensing winner Galant is radiantly beautiful, highly talented, and has a pedigree in a class of its own. Without a doubt, an important figure of the future has entered the stage here, whose rhythm, hindquarters, natural uphill tendency, and superior character are exemplary.
His sire Glamdale I WP NRW is following in the footsteps of his famous sire Glamourdale, who won gold at the World Championships for seven-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo/NED in 2018. Subsequently, Glamourdale, ridden by Charlotte Fry/GBR, was unbeatable in the Grand Prix Special and Freestyle at the 2022 World Dressage Championships in Herning/DEN, after already securing silver with the team. At the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris/FRA, the pair added individual and team bronze medals to their collection, and at the 2023 European Championships in Riesenbeck and the 2025 European Championships in Crozet/FRA, they also won team gold, individual silver and team silver. Glamourdale and Charlotte Fry won the 2025 World Cup Final in Basel/SUI. Glamdale WP NRW, one of over 40 licensed stallions by Glamourdale, amongst whom Kuvazc RS2 N.O.P./Marieke van der Putten/NED is already collecting World Cup successes himself, started his sport career as the winner of the “Westfalen-Wappen” competition and was bronze medallist at the German Championships for three-year-old stallions. In 2024, he was silver medallist at the World Championships for five-year-old dressage horses with an overall score of over 90 percent with Stefanie Ahlert. Galant comes from Glamdale WP NRW’s first crop of stallions.
His dam St.Pr.St. Filia Aurica, herself successful up to intermediate (M*) level in dressage, is the half sister of the licensed stallion and Inter I-winning Solo Feliz (by San Amour I)/Daniella Dierks/AUS and the full sister of the 3-star eventer Femme Fatale/Mina Deirdre Mc Sherry.
His dam's sire Foundation was the winner of the Oldenburg Ia main premium in 2012 and placed in the finals of the Burg Cup and the Louisdor Prize. Ridden by Matthias Alexander Rath, he won multiple Grand Prix competitions and Nations Cups. In 2020, Foundation was awarded the prestigious “Grande Preis” by the Hanoverian Association. In 2025, he was named elite stallion in Oldenburg. In the WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage stallions, he is placed amongst the top 20 thanks to his offspring, such as Florine OLD/Bianca Aulenbrock-Nowag, who came sixth in the World Cup.
His grand-dam St.Pr./El.St. Donna Lara is the full sister of Don Royal (by Donnerhall)/Irina Muro/VEN, who is a licensed stallion and was successful at Inter I level at the Pan-Am and Continental Games.
In the third and fourth generations appear the breeding heroes Donnerhall and Argentan.
The stallion Quidam’s Diablo (by Quite Rubin) also descends from the Hanoverian line of Weintraube or Karleen.
