Vice State Champion and Stallion Performance Test Record Winner
Hanoverian Premium Stallion
Two-Million-Euro Stallion Market Top Price
This stallion is in a league of his own. Daan G received scores between 9.0 and 9.5 in all characteristics: his three paces, rideability, the test rider, capacity, and the assessment of his potential. He concluded his 35-day test in Denmark with a sensational result of 912 points, making him the clear winner. This dominance was not unexpected. Since his spectacular licensing, where he was celebrated with standing ovations by Hanoverian breeders and went down in the history books of the Verden Stallion Market with a final bid of two million euros, and winning the silver medal at the Hanoverian Championships (9.2), Daan G has been the talk of the town.
His sire Hesselhøj Donkey Boss is himself a son of Hesselhøj Donkey Boy. He was a premium stallion at his licensing in 2015 in Denmark, winner of his stallion performance test, winner of his licensing for four-year-olds in 2016 and winner of the Danish Young Horse Championships, bronze medallist at the World Championships for young dressage horses in 2017, finalist in 2018 and silver medallist in 2019 in the seven-year-old class, when he also won the Danish Championships, and winner of Inter I dressage competitions in 2020 with scores above 75 percent. He is now successful in Grand Prix. Hesselhøj Donkey Boy is also an elite stallion. Ten of his sons have been licensed, including the World Champion of five-year-old dressage horses and Vice World Champion of six-year-old dressage horses, Hesselhøj Down Town, and his full brother Hesselhøj Donkey Boss. The latter was premium stallion at his licensing in Denmark, secured the title of best four-year-old stallion in Denmark and won the prestigious Aage Ravn’s Trophy. He received top scores at his stallion performance test: 10 for character, 9.5 for trot, walk and rideability and 9.0 for canter. Daan G is out of his first crop of stallions.
His dam De Vie G. was awarded a bronze medal for her mare test. Her daughter Madison G. (by Monte Carlo) won her mare test. Her colt, Dane G. by Hesselhøj Donkey Boss, won a gold medal and won the Hanoverian International Show. De Vie G’s half sister Donna Diamond G. (by Hesselhøj Donkey Boy) came second in the qualifying test for the Riders Cup with 855 points.
His dam's sire Don Olymbrio recorded fantastic victories and placings in the international Grand Prix Tour with Daniel Bachmann Anderssen/DEN and Nanna Skodborg Merrald/DEN, including second place in the Aachen Nations Cup in 2019 and second place in the World Cup final in Riyadh/KSA in 2024. As a nine-year-old, he was already named elite stallion of his breed and currently has ten licensed sons, led by Blue Hors Touch of Olympic L/Nanna Skodborg Merrald/DEN and Sophia Ludvigsen/DEN, Vice World Champion of young dressage horses and now successful in the international Young Riders Tour, and six offspring who are successful in Grand Prix, including Hansel/Ashley Holzer/USA and Uno Don Olympic/Anna Zibrandtsen/DEN.
His grand-dam SRDH Duffy received 844.5 points in her rideability test, was selected for the Danish Elite Mare Show and was awarded the silver medal.
Hanoverian line of the Jadeluft, from which descend the stallions Dream Diamond (by Don Crusador), Forbes (by Fidertanz) and a stallion by Deveraux as well as other sport horses.
