His dam produced four sport horses

Comrado, son of the influential Comme il faut, impresses above all with his generous frame, athleticism, ambition, and ability to combine these qualities with extremely efficient technique and a high degree of natural balance. "He never runs the risk of making a mistake," praised the judges at his 50-day test in Adelheidsdorf in 2025, which he completed with consistently good marks and a weighted final score of over 8, with an emphasis on jumping.

His sire Comme il faut, himself the result of the crossing of the Olympic stallion and European Team Champion Cornet Obolensky/Marco Kutscher/GER and the Olympic Team Champion, World Champion, World Cup winner, European Champion and Aachen winner Ratina Z/Ludger Beerbaum/GER, was licensed in Münster-Handorf in 2007. The following year, he was the show jumping winner of his stallion performance test at the same place. Ridden by Franz-Josef Dahlmann/GER, he won the silver medal at the 2010 World Championships for young show jumping horses (5y.o.) in Lanaken/BEL and the silver medal at the 2011 German Young Horse Championships (6y.o.). In 2013, Comme il faut started competing internationally with Marcus Ehning/GER. The pair's sport achievements include team silver at the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam/NED, victories in the Grand Prix in Madrid/ESP, Vienna/AUT, Brussels/BEL and Paderborn/GER, victory in the Nations Cup final in Barcelona/ESP and top placings in the Grand Prix in Dortmund/GER, Rotterdam/NED and Rome/ITA. In 2021, Comme il faut was given a ceremonial farewell from sport at the European Championships in Riesenbeck/GER. Over 140 sons of Comme il faut have been licensed worldwide. He is currently back in the top ten of the world's best show jumping sires according to the WBFSH ranking, thanks to the success of his offspring, above all the 2024 Olympic Champion in Paris/FRA, Checker/Christian Kukuk/GER and Cuma/Katharina Rhomberg/AUT, who came third by team at the European Championships.

His dam Alma has already produced the show jumpers Daaje (by Lasino; 1.40m SJ), Cronus (by Casall; 1.35m SJ), Jasmin (by Comme il faut; 1.35m SJ) and Londonderry (by Livello; 1.40m SJ).

His dam's sire is Corrado I, a direct son of Cor de la Bryère, who has had a lasting influence on Holstein breeding. He was one of the first stallions to prove his exceptional abilities on show jumping courses, which was unusual at the time. Ridden by Franke Sloothaak, Corrado I won the World Cup show jumping competitions in Dortmund and Aarhus/DEN, the NRW Prize in Aachen, and the Grand Prix competitions in Kiel, Neumünster, and Leeuwarden/NED. He came second in the Nations Cup in La Baule/FRA and third in the Nations Cup in Aachen. Amongst his 85 licensed sons, Clinton/Dirk Demeersman/BEL, who came fourth at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens/GRE and sire of the current WBFSH leader Cornet Obolensky/Marco Kutscher, stands out. In sport, an armada of almost 80 1.60m show jumping horses awaits, led by team World and European Champion and two-time individual Vice European Champion Corradina/Carsten-Otto Nagel.  

His grand-dam Zarina VII is the dam of the licensed stallion Clinton Jmen (by Corrado I) and of the mares Legende V (by Landgraf), who produced Vanya W (by Carnute), who is successful in World Cups, and Zora I (by Carentan), who produced the 1.55m show jumping horse Eibo (by Quardos)/Nathalie Stecher.

The great-grand-dam Swatowo produced the licensed stallion Alant (by Ahorn Z) and is herself a full sister of the two licensed stallions Leonardo I and II.

The famous Holstein line 18a2 also produced the stallions Catwalk (by Coman; 1.65m SJ)/Robert Whitaker/GBR, L.B. Chaplini (by Cassin; 1.45m SJ), Loveless (by Lord Z; 1.55m SJ), Landskron (by Lahnstein; 1.40m SJ), Diacont (by Diamant de Semilly), Canoso (by Catoki; 1.45m SJ) and many other equally successful show jumping horses.
