Following the tracks of his impressive sire Chacco-Blue

Top placings in Grand Prix and Nations Cups show the consistency of Chacgrano, ridden by Patrick Stühlmeyer. The heir to his sire Chacco-Blue's throne is quickly catching up with the world's elite. In accordance with his talent, he was also specifically trained for this. After victories in classes for young show-jumping horses, he started competing in the international Youngster Tour in 2014 at the age of seven. In 2017, he achieved his first successes with Brazilian Eduardo Menezes in the Global Champions Tour stages of Cannes/FRA, Shanghai/CHN and Paris/FRA. Ridden by Patrick Stühlmeyer, Chacgrano was highly placed in Calgary/CAN, Hickstead/GBR, Wiesbaden/GER, Munich/GER, Paderborn/GER, Herning/DEN and Groß Viegeln/GER.

His qualities as a sire are also impressive. His first foals, born in 2019, have impressed with their presence and modernity.

His sire is the elite stallion Chacco-Blue. He is a son of the Holstein stallion Chambertin out of a Contender-Godavari xx dam and inbred over the line founder Cor de la Bryère. He was third in the Grand Prix in Aachen and won the Grand Prix in Neumünster. In 2015, the successes of his offspring placed him among the top ten of the world's best show jumpers for the first time. Since 2017, he leads the ranking of the world breeding federation WBFSH. His most successful offspring include the Vice European Champion and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, the European Team Champion Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL and Grand Prix winner Chacna/Enrique Gonzalez/MEX. The latter was one of eight of Chacco Blue’s offspring who took part in the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA. Over 40 of his sons have been licensed.

His dam Gastona is the full sister of Gaston M, who was German Champion in Mannheim in 1989 and was successful up to the Olympic Games in 1996 in Atlanta/USA. Gastona produced, with Polasko (by Polytraum), Colasko (by Colman), Caltona, Calasko Z and Calvogran (all by Calvaro Z), further internationally successful show-jumping horses. Through her daughter Whizz Kid (by Carthago), Gastona also became grand-dam of Chaganus/Rodrigo Pessoa/BRA, Chataga/Cassio Rivetti/ITA and Chaccocartes (all by Chacco-Blue)/Marcel Wegfahrt.

Grannus, who himself won advanced (S) level show-jumping competitions, proved to be an exceptional performance sire for the international show-jumping sport - and in many cases, as with Chacgrano, also on the dam's sire's side.

Bloodline of the thoroughbred great-grand-dam Igra xx. This line comes from a branch of the thoroughbred family 17 bred over generations in Russia, and from which descend the Champion Stallion of the licensing of South Germany, Sir Nymphenburg I, his full brother Sir Nymphenburg II, who is also licensed, and the premium stallion of South Germany, Da Felice.
